Our dog's name is long enough to have its own postcode. Thought the shop-style label might look cramped. There was still space around the lettering in the proof and it reads nicely on the finished mini tote. Relieved and delighted.
The grocery label is funny, but I still wanted the portrait to look like our particular dog. It does. His name fits neatly into the lettering too. The joke works better because you can tell who owns this imaginary shop.
went back and forth between this and the plain portrait bag. picked the pretend shop because it makes us laugh. the welcome bags could be playful without turning the entire wedding into a grocery store lol
My friend wants a version for her dog now. She's not engaged. That reassured me these read as a fun little bag, not something that only made sense on our wedding day.
Our dog's shop would sell tennis balls and stolen lunch. That was the joke we wanted in the welcome bags. A bit silly, yes, but personal to us. I'm glad we didn't talk ourselves into something more serious.

We had quite a formal venue and wanted one detail that was just silly. These little totes did that perfectly. They didn't need an extra tag to explain the idea. The printed name and portrait did all the work.

If you just know you want your dog involved and trust us to make it look good, that works too. We've done this 300+ times.
Yes, and we don't print until you're certain it does. That's the whole point of the Happiness Guarantee. You'll see a detailed proof before anything goes to production. If the ears are wrong, the coloring is off, or it just doesn't feel right, we revise it. As many times as it takes. We've illustrated everything from photogenic golden retrievers to camera-shy rescue mutts with complicated markings, and we get it right.
It means we don't print until the illustration actually looks like your dog and you’re happy with the design proof. You'll get a detailed proof showing the portrait on every product in your order. If something's off, the markings, the expression, the color, the proportions, tell us and we'll fix it. No limit on revisions, no extra charge. We move to production only when you say it's right.
It's a fair concern, and it's the most common one we hear. The short answer is: look at the photos. Our work has been featured in Vogue Weddings and Brides. Couples with black-tie venues, minimalist aesthetics, and very particular taste have ordered from us and been happy.
The longer answer is that we design around your wedding, not around a generic "dog wedding" template. Your palette, your typography style, your vibe. We build the illustration and layout to match. The goal is always for guests to notice the detail and think "that's beautiful" before they realize it's a dog portrait
We recommend at least 10–12 weeks before your wedding. The timeline breaks down as: 5–7 days for illustration, 2–3 days for proofing, and 4–5 weeks for production and shipping. The more buffer you have, the more relaxed the proofing process is. If you're under 10 weeks out, reach out before ordering as we may be able to accommodate with rush processing.
