Return & Refund Policy

Every item we create is custom-illustrated and custom-produced specifically for you. Because of this, please review the following carefully before placing your order.

100% Happiness Guarantee (Before Print)

All personalized orders include a digital proof, and we’ll work with you to refine your design until you feel fully confident moving forward.

Our 100% happiness guarantee applies before anything goes to print.

If we’re unable to reach a design you’re happy with after a reasonable number of revisions, you may cancel your order before approving your proof. Because no items have been produced at that stage, an eligible refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Production will never begin without your written approval.

All Custom Orders Are Final Sale After Approval

Once a proof is approved, your order moves into production and cannot be changed, canceled, returned, or refunded.

This includes situations involving:

  • Change of mind after approval
  • Errors in information provided by the customer, including spelling, names, dates, addresses, quantities, or preferences
  • Delays caused by late proof review or delayed approval
  • Orders arriving after a desired event date due to delayed customer responses

Approving a proof constitutes full acceptance of the final design and authorizes production to begin.

The Proofing Process

Please review your proof carefully, including:

  • Spelling
  • Names
  • Dates
  • Layout
  • Colors
  • Quantities
  • Design details

Additional proof revisions may slightly extend your production timeline.

Production timelines begin only after final proof approval has been received in writing.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

While custom orders are final sale, we stand behind the quality of what we produce.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or does not match your approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@ineverychapter.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the issue
  • Photos of the packaging, if applicable
  • A brief description of the problem

If the issue is determined to be a production error on our end, we will correct it at no additional cost to you, including reprinting and reshipping when appropriate.

We’re unable to assist with claims submitted outside the 7-day reporting window.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only in the following situations:

  • A cancellation before proof approval
  • A confirmed production defect where a replacement is not reasonably possible
  • A non-custom item that is eligible under applicable policies or law

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within approximately 10 business days.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
