Do I need to know exactly what I want before ordering?
Not at all. After you place your order for the Custom Dog Bar Sign, we'll send you a short form to collect your dog photos, bar menu text, names, wedding date, and any design notes. You'll finalize all the details there — nothing is locked in at checkout.
What text goes on the bar sign?
The sign typically includes your signature drinks and their ingredients, your names, and your wedding date — but you can customize everything. Popular formats include a "Signature Drinks" header with two or three cocktail names and descriptions. If you have a specific layout in mind, share it in your order form and we'll work from your vision.
Can I see the artwork before it's printed?
Always. You'll approve a digital proof of your Custom Dog Bar Sign showing the illustration, layout, and all text exactly as it will appear on the final sign. We don't send anything to print without your written approval.
What does the 100% Happiness Guarantee mean?
It means we don't print until the illustration actually looks like your dog and you’re happy with the design proof. You'll get a detailed proof showing the portrait on every product in your order. If something's off, the markings, the expression, the color, the proportions, tell us and we'll fix it. No limit on revisions, no extra charge. We move to production only when you say it's right.
What size is the bar sign?
The Custom Dog Bar Sign is approximately 12 inches tall and comes with a stand included. It's designed to sit on a bar table or cocktail hour surface at eye level. If you need a different size, contact us before ordering and we'll let you know what's available.
What is the sign made of?
The sign is printed on clear acrylic with a single-sided painted finish. It arrives with a protective film on the surface — peel it off before displaying. Clean it gently with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. The stand is included.
What if I have multiple dogs?
We can include multiple dogs on your bar sign. There's a small additional fee per extra pet since each animal is hand-drawn separately. Note this in your order form after checkout and we'll confirm before starting.
What if I have a cat or other pet?
We illustrate any pet: cats, horses, bunnies, whatever you love. Every portrait is hand-drawn specifically for you.
When should I order my bar sign?
The Custom Dog Bar Sign has a faster turnaround than our packages — order at least 4 weeks before your wedding date to be comfortable. If your date is sooner, contact us first and we'll check availability.
How long does the bar sign take from order to delivery?
The Custom Dog Bar Sign typically takes about 4 weeks from order to delivery — that covers illustration, your proof and revision round, production, and shipping. This is significantly faster than our package orders, which run 6–12 weeks.
What photos should I send?
Clear, well-lit photos where we can see your dog's face and features. Phone photos work great — no professional shoot needed. We'll send you specific guidance after you order, but a front-facing shot and a 3/4 angle together give our artists the most to work with.
What if my dog doesn't photograph well or has unique markings?
That's exactly why we hand-illustrate instead of printing from photos. Our artists are trained to capture personality and likeness even with tricky coloring, mixed breeds, or camera-shy pups. Include a note about what makes your dog distinctive and we'll take it from there.
